A new look
Since last winter Riley has been growing is hair. By christmas he had offical hockey hair and by April it was getting to be too much. By now he was looking more like a girl with shoulder length hair. So last week I finally convinced him he need a haircut or at least a trim. But he wanted no part of it. Finally I told him the best way would be to pick a picture out of a magazine and show them. So Riley and I went out to buy a teen magazine to get some looks. He found one right away and we took it in to get his hair cut. After it looked so different I wasn't sure I liked it. Actually I was really upset for pushing him to get it cut. But after a few day I have now grown to like it. The main thing is he liked it and now we can see his face.

Six Years
It's hard to believe our baby girl is now six. This weekend Kiera celebrated her sixth birthday with friends from school. We had a Luau/ Pool party. Once the girls arrived we sat and did a craft, the moved outside to play some games. The girls were all given Hula skirts, Leis and a flower hair clip so they could get into the spirit. Then it was off to play coconut bowling, limbo, musical chair and the tacky tourist. The girls had a blast. After games we headed in for cake and opening presents. Once Kiera finished the girls got ready and went for a swim. With a morning of rain and a cloudy afternoon, the day did turn out good after all. Once Kieras friends went home we cleaned up to get ready for some friends to come over for a BBQ and bonfire. With clear skyes it was perfect.
